SPRING HILL, FLa.- One man is dead in a deputy involved shooting in Spring Hill early Saturday morning.
According to a release, deputies responded to a home on Feather Street in Spring Hill around 2:40 a.m. to serve a felony warrant. When deputies made contact with the wanted person, shots were fired. The man was pronounced dead on scene.
No deputies were injured during the incident and the investigation is in the preliminary stages at this time.
As with all deputy-involved shooting, the FDLE will be conducting the investigation. As per standard protocol, the deputy involved in this incident will be placed on paid administrative leave during the investigation.
